The northern part of Shelby County offers many different neighborhood, with LOTS of shopping, restaurants and great schools!  Conveneient to the 10,000 acre Oak Mountain State Park, with miles and miles of walking and mountain biking trails, lakes, a nature conservacy.  The few minutes extra it takes to get downtown is well worth it!  (Lower taxes also help!)  The beauty of nature is an integral part of the desirabilty of this area!
