Zillow Mortgage Marketplace reports Alabama mortgage rates for 30-year fixed-rate mortgages dropped 1 basis points from 4.38% to 4.37% on Saturday. State mortgage rates ranged from the lowest rate of 4.21% (UT) to the highest rate of 4.70% (NV). Currently, Alabama mortgage rates are 4 basis points higher than the national average of 4.33%.

The Alabama mortgage rate on July 31, 2010, is down 3 basis points from last week's average Alabama rate of 4.40%.
